Char Casson began teaching gifted students in Ralston Public schools in 2012 and brings a wealth of experience to her position. She has 8 years of experience in gifted education, including 7 years as Gifted and Talented Program Director and teacher in Kearney, Nebraska. Prior to that, she was a classroom teacher and an elementary principal in Fairbury, Nebraska where she was the recipient of the Golden Apple Award. Char is also a Past President of the Nebraska Association for the Gifted. In her spare time, she loves to travel. Char will be teaching part time at Mockingbird and Seymour in the subjects of High Ability Learning literature and math.
